Our Ikon design is part of our semiframeless glass range. As with all our designs its simplicity is integral to its stylish good looks. This design works great as a pool fence and is one of our best sellers. New building rules apply to this design which now requires a handrail if used as a balustrade.

The Ikon design consists of 50mm round or square posts with an internal glazing channel which accepts 10mm toughened safety glass. The glass has polished edges top and bottom and achieves that minimal frameless glass look but is more economical and has wider installation range. The internal glazing channel makes for a clean edge which not only looks great but makes cleaning a breeze. 

Advantages of the Geographe Balustrading design include:

• Superior weather resistance - as the entire unit is fully TIG welded and powdercoated as a complete unit every surface is coated in baked enamel powdercoat.

• Components are not riveted together which means less places for corrosion to start and stronger final product.

•  All welds are concealed or ground smooth which results in a very stylish smooth finish.

• Less places for insects and spiders to live meaning less cleaning and maintenance.

• If fixing into concrete we core drill the legs into the concrete rather than use dyna bolts, again this results in a stronger and neater finish.

• If fixing to timber or steel we use top quality stainless steel fixings usually concealed under a stylish baseplate.

• The toughened safety glass is fitted to glazing channels inside the aluminium extrusions which is not only neat but easier to clean.

• All designs easily exceed Australian Standards and BCA codes

• The fully welded design also enables limitless design flexibility with a choice of different handrail profiles.

• All powder coating is backed by Dulux or Interpon international warranties
